Providing participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with emergency situations and know the limits of basic and advanced first aid ,familiarise themselves with First Aid regulations to be aware of the duties of the employer as to First Aid.. Who Should Attend?

First day: ●Opening and Registration ●Orientation “introduction ●Course briefing ●1st aid in work place ●What is expected from 1st aider ●1st aid in action: incident management ●Causality management (life threatening conditions ●How to fight the life threatening conditions ●Action after initial assessment - Managing an unconscious causality with breathing and circulation presence - Managing an unconscious causality with circulation but no breathing presence - Managing an unconscious causality with neither circulation nor breathing presence - Managing an unconscious causality where mouth to mouth procedure fails to inflate the chest or is in appropriate ●Dressing and bandages ●Revision (1) ●Feed- back and progress test (1) ●Skills practice one Second day: ● Causality management top to toe survey: Recognition features , levels of response and radial pulse. ●Causality management : Disorders of air way and breathing: hypoxia, chocking , asthma and hyperventilation ●Causality management Disorders of circulation : shock ●Causality management Disorders of circulation : fainting, anaphylactic skock, angina and heart attacks. ●Causality management Disorders of circulation internal bleeding ●Causality management External bleeding ●Causality management External bleeding with special problem ●Revision (2) ●Feed back and progress test (2) ●Skills practice (2)
Third day: ●Causality management : Disorders of the brain ( concussion , compression, skull fracture and stroke ●Causality management : Epilepsy ●Causality management : Hypoglycemia ●Causality management : Poisons ●Causality management : Poisons of the workplace ●Causality management : Burns ●Effect of heat and cold ●Causality management : Injuries to the muscles and skeleton ●Revision (3) ●Feed back ●Causality management : Eye examination ●Causality management : Handling and moving a causality ●Managing an incident – practice - Role play briefing for 1st aiders - Role play briefing for causality and by standers
